Every month we have a full schedule of activities for you to be apart of in Mom's Connection. For the remainder of February we have our topic meeting and a Mom's Night Out!!

February 24 Topic Meeting -Join us at Bethel Assembly of God in Martinsburg, WV in the Mace building rm 109. We meet together for refreshments, a mixer, listen to one of our moms give a testimony "Because of the Cross...", and break into discussion groups.
February 26 Mom's Night Out- Join us at Amanda Dagostino's house to play games at 6 PM. Bring an appetizer to share and a game to play! Stay and have fun!
February 27 Times of Refreshing Prayer at Kim Ratcliffe's house. This is an Open House format between 9:30 AM- 2:30 PM. Children are welcomed!

Testimony Tuesday

God blesses our lives so much. I thought it would be great to have testimonies on Tuesdays for moms to share what God has done and continues to do in our lives. It's only fair for me to go first since I will be asking many of you to follow behind me. Let's give God praise for all He has done for us!
I was raised in a christian home and attended church everytime the doors were opened. I was dedicated, saved, and baptized. With all my 'spiritual credentials', there was still something missing in my spiritual walk. I didn't really know God. Oh, I thought I knew Him. Instead of putting on Christ's righteousness, I put on my own. It didn't get me far in living a joyful life or producing any fruit for the Kingdom.
Until I was invited to a prayer group called God Catchers! I started to see up close how far I was from God and how other women in that group who didn't have my 'spiritual background' knew Him better. I have to admit I was jealous of these women. I thought what's going on here! But my heart began to burn within me for more of God. These women encouraged me to read my Bible and to spend time with God. They were patient, kind, and loving towards me. And I began to grow in my relationship with Christ. God loved me too much to leave me in that stale, dry place. He wanted me to produce a harvest for Him. I am so thankful to God! I could give a testimony every Tuesday for years of what God did for me while attending that prayer group!!

I praise God today for the opportunity to start this blog for Mom's Connection. I am looking forward to what this will bring for our small group in the Eastern Panhandle. God has a way of taking something little and making it bigger and better. "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 Wow!! How great is God! My hope is that you will find encouragement here, information of our upcoming events, recaps of our fun times together, and testimonies of what God is doing in our lives. I want us to get to know each other better with a place you can tell about yourselves. We can share ideas, crafts, recipes, and tips on parenting. If you are a member of Mom's Connection this is a place for you! If your just visiting us, I hope your inspired to join us during one of our topic meetings every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 10 AM at Bethel Assembly of God in Martinsburg, WV. We enjoy a time of fellowship together before breaking into smaller groups to discuss a topic based on specific books. These books are listed on this blog.
