This mom is reading...

Creative Correction: Extraordinary Ideas for Everyday Discipline by Lisa Whelchel.

The book is a great tool for getting ideas from Lisa Whelchel and other moms about how to deal with everyday life with children. I was able to use so many ideas from the book. It has a tool box after each one of the chapters to help you choose a tool that will best fit with what you might need an idea on for a certain situation.

What I love about the book is how Lisa used bible verses to find where God has given those “directions” to help you know how to raise your children and guild them in life. There is even a chapter called “Learning from the Ultimate Parent”. I would recommend this book to all parents. She is an outstanding writer and she makes the book fun to read. She has proposed a new bumper sticker that says, “My children aren't perfect but neither are yours.” She also has a website at www.creativecorrection.com.
