Autism Friendly Movie

Do you have a child on the Autism Spectrum? On June 19, 2010 at 10 AM at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Winchester, VA there is an opportunity for Autistic children to be able to view a movie showing "Marmaduke" rated PG. Tickets are $6 for children and $7 for adults. Breakfast will be a buffet style at the theater for $9 each (totally optional but is served between 9-11 AM).

This showing is based around the specific needs of Autistic children such as there will be some noise and the lights will be 1/2 up because these children deserve to get to go do things other kids can do. Autistic Children get kicked out of the movie theaters because they can't sit still and be quiet. Or parents get upset, and just walk out. This will not be the case. The showing is available for everyone but keep in mind the environment will be different. To view the trailer, go to www.TheMarmadukeMovie.com.
