Our first meeting this fall...

Tuesday, September 28 Topic Meeting- Join us at Bethel Assembly of God in Martinsburg, WV (just past City Hospital) in the MACE building (large activity building behind the church) in room 109 (large center room on first floor) from 9:45- 11:45 AM. We meet for a time of brunch, prayer, and discussion groups.

During our first meeting three moms from our group will be speaking about issues close to their heart. We have the privilege to hear Janine DiGiovanni speak on "Your child's learning style", Donnis Lloyd speak on "How food impacts behavior", and Missy Beard speak on "Autism". You do not want to miss it!

To kick off our opening meeting, please bring a snack to share with everyone!

In October our Care Circles will begin a discussion based on the book "the Worn Out Woman, When your life is full and your spirit is empty." Here is an excerpt:

I am amazed at all they are trying to balance--caring for children; fixing meals; cleaning; decorating and maintaining their homes; volunteering at school, church, and community activities; hosting get-togethers; balancing finances; working at full-time or part-time jobs; loving their husbands; caring for aging parents; and seeing all the other aspects of their daily lives.

I worry that many women are working at 120 percent of their capacity and feeling guilty because they are not doing more. That's probably true of you as well. You take what you do seriously and try to do the best you can. I know how responsible, caring, diligent, and active you are, but your life is so busy that you run out of energy long before the day is over.

Dear worn-out woman, you can't do it all, nor do you have to!

Before October go ahead and pick up your book today at www.amazon.com. Any questions, contact Lisa Fraley at momsrgreat@comcast.net.
